Feast Days this week, February 2 and 3

Thursday, February 2 is the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord, also known as Candlemas, when the candles to be used for the year are blessed. The 5:15 p.m. Mass will be the Mass for World Day of Consecrated Life.

Friday, February 3 is the Feast of Saint Blaise. Using the candles blessed on Candlemas, we have have a Blessing of the Throats at the daily Masses at 7:30 a.m. and 5:15 p.m.

Pilgrimage to England in June

Father Joseph will lead a pilgrimage to England from June 11 to 23, 2012 that will explore England's early Christian roots, its medieval flowering, the era of persecution of Catholics, and the re-emergence of Catholicism during the time of John Henry Newman. Sites to be visited will include Ramsgate, Canterbury, Oxford, Walsingham, Rievaulx Abbey, the Tower of London and much more! The itinerary has been carefully designed by Father Joseph and some English priest friends of his to assure that this pilgrimage experience will be a treasured memory-maker.

Theology on Tap, Wednesdays through February 15

All young adults (ages 21-39, single or married) are invited to Theology on Tap™, a Catholic speaker series that takes place in the relevant setting of your favorite local pub. Come for a great talk and even better fellowship with Catholic young adults from around the Twin Cities! We meet at the Glockenspiel on West 7th Street. Doors open at 7 p.m., speaker begins at 7:30 p.m.  All sessions are free of charge, however drinks and food are not included.
