Founders' Chapel

The Founders' Chapel, envisioned by Archbishop Ireland, celebrates the sacrifices and generosity of those who made possible the Cathedral's construction, embellishments and restoration.

Glass panels in the Founders' Chapel recognize donors to the Cathedral's restoration who are members of one of three societies named: "Archbishop John Ireland Society," "Archbishop Austin Dowling Society" and "Bishop Joseph Cretin Society."
