Faith Formation

Pathways (Parish Adult Education/Formation)

This ministry is open to all Cathedral parishioners who are looking for fellowship of others from the parish community in the journey toward becoming better stewards and learning about the Catholic faith. This is an all-ages group that helps to organize Bible studies, talks on the faith, Eucharistic Adoration, parish retreats, and other special events. All are welcome to join us at any of our events!

The Pathways core team meets once a month for those who would like to get more involved in the planning of our events.

Children's Religious Education

This program for children is provided through a collaborative effort with the downtown parish of St. Mary’s. Classes for ages 5-16 meet on Saturday mornings, September—May. Registration is required.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)

This is the process by which adults who wish to be baptized or received into the Catholic Church are welcomed and initiated. This process begins in September and ends at Pentecost.

If you are a non-Catholic who is interested in finding out more about Catholicism, or in joining RCIA, please visit our RCIA webpage.

These sessions are especially suited for adults who would like to prepare to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, but are open to anyone who is interested in attending. Registration required.
