Hospitality and Welcoming

The Cathedral of Saint Paul is home to all. We have many ways of reaching out in welcome to those who visit, those who are Cathedral parishioners, and those who are considering making the Cathedral their place of worship.

Parish Registration

Members are present following the Masses on the 3rd Sunday of the month to be available for questions about the Cathedral or the process for registering.

To be a registration volunteer has a commitment of about 20 minutes, following the Mass of your choice, every 2-3 months.

New Parishioner Welcoming Committee

Call and/or write a note of welcome to those who have joined the Cathedral parish in the past month. Time commitment is approximately 1-2 hours a month. Training is provided.

All committee members are also invited to take part in the New Parishioner Breakfast that occurs 4 times a year. The breakfast is a special time for new parishioners to meet each other, the committee and get a general feel for the Cathedral parish.

Coffee and Donuts

Coffee and donuts are provided following the 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. Masses on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month. These are hosted by both the Women’s and Men’s Associations. Coffee and Donuts is held in Hayden Hall, in the lower level of the Cathedral.

How to Volunteer

Review the various opportunities offered, looking at the time commitment needed. Fill out and submit the Volunteer Interest Form. You will be contacted by one of the Cathedral staff for a meeting.
