Moms Group

Purpose

The mission of the Moms Group is to help mothers find Jesus Christ in their daily lives, to help them to connect their maternity to God's calling for us and our families, and to support the domestic Church. Our schedule of events focuses on being nurturing to mothers while incorporating the entire family for occasional large events.

Meetings 

We have two regular meeting times:

• Monthly Meeting:  We meet on the third Tuesday of each month from 7 to 8 p.m. in the Hospitality Room.  Join us for formation and discussion that will support our families, ourselves and each other.  Nursing babies are welcome.  Afterward, there is the option to go out for social time at a restaurant.
   
• Pray and Play:  We also meet on the first Friday of each month from 10:30 a.m. to noon.  We gather in the Blessed Virgin Mary Chapel where moms and children recite prayers together.   Afterward, we gather for lunch and playtime in Hayden Hall.  In warmer months, we play outdoors in the Cathedral courtyard.  Bring a bag lunch for your family. 

Parish Activities

The moms annually sponsor an All Saints Day Party and host the soup supper during the first Friday of Lent.  We also serve coffee and donuts on the first Sunday of the month following the 10 a.m. Mass.
