Celebrating of the 50th Anniversary of the Consecration of the Cathedral of Saint Paul
Join us in celebrating of the 50th anniversary of the consecration of the Cathedral of Saint Paul at the Anniversary Luncheon on Sunday, October 12. It begins after the 10:00 a.m. Mass, celebrated by Archbishop Nienstedt, and goes until 1:30 p.m. in the Cathedral Courtyard. We will be serving brats, hamburgers, and all the trimmings including beverages and desserts.

Composers through the ages have used music to paint vivid images of the earth's end: a moment when time stopped, the stars were harvested, adn eternity dawned. Featuring Coptic, Hebrew, and Latin chant traditions, soaring English Renaissance motets, adn a new piece by composer-in-residence John Rommereim, this program explores human stories on a celestial scale. A pre-concert presentation begins at 7:00 p.m.
Help Maintain Your Mother Church
Many people are well aware of the remaining $13 million debt from the emergency $30 million dome and roof replacement. This debt would be eliminated if every one of the 600,000 or so Catholics in the Twin Cities region would give $25. That would be a miracle… and we believe in miracles! As it is, we should look into our hearts and give as much as we can—the poor immigrants were proud to build it with their blood, sweat, and tears. It is our privilege to inherit and pass on to future generations this great legacy of faith.
