Cathedral's “bond of spiritual affinity" with Saint Paul Outside the Walls

Life is a journey on which we seek our true and lasting home in Heaven. Many religions encourage pilgrimages to emphasize this. For Christians, the greatest of pilgrimages is to the Holy Land or to the tombs of Sts. Peter and Paul in Rome. Many of us find it difficult to undertake such a trip due to expense and other obligations.

Marriage Day Celebration, June 8

Married couples are invited to join Archbishop Nienstedt for Mass, renewal of vows, and a short reception at the Cathedral on Saturday, June 8, at 10:00 a.m. Couples married over 50 years will be honored in a special way. Couples celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary in 2013 can receive a certificate signed by the Archbishop (visit www.archspm.org for more details). Families and friends of honored couples are welcome!

Discovering Catholicism (pre-RCIA), June 4

Are you exploring Catholicism? Do you have questions about what the Church teaches and why it teaches it? Have you ever considered joining RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults)?

If you are non-Catholic and interested in exploring the Catholic faith, this program is for you! Discovering Catholicism is a series of presentations and discussions for anyone considering becoming Catholic or who would like to learn more about Catholicism. It is a great precursor to RCIA.
