• Rose Ensemble: Celestial Harvest - Music for the End of Time
  Friday, 10/10/2008 at 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Sacred Heart
  Composers through the ages have used music to paint vivid images of the earth's end: a moment when time stopped, the stars were harvested, adn eternity dawned. Featuring Coptic, Hebrew, and Latin chant traditions, soaring English Renaissance motets, adn a new piece by composer-in-residence John Rommereim, this program explores human stories on a celestial scale. A pre-concert presentation begins at 7:00 p.m.

• VocalEssence: Musique de France
  Friday, 10/17/2008 at 8:00 p.m. in the main sanctuary
  The VocalEssence Chorus, Ensemble Singer, and special guests The St. Olaf Choir and tenor Dan Dressen fill the magnificent Cathedral acoustic with Berlioz's Te Deum, joined by full orchestra—including twelve harps! This all-French program also features lyrical music of Poulenc, Villette, Duruflé and Daniel-Lesur.
